Reduce poverty
Help families build sustainable livelihoods.
Our history
The vision for Malooi Youth Demonstration Farm was born at Pastor Kioko Mwangangi's home in 2006. That same year, the AIC Malooi Youth Group established a tree nursery at the church. In 2010, land was purchased for what is now the training center and expanded nursery. Youth members fenced the approximately 3.05-acre property, prepared soil-conserving terraces, planted fruit and forest trees, and established an early beehive.
The farm grew out of the vision of Pastor Kioko Mwangangi and the youth of AIC Malooi. The local church and its leadership have played a central role in developing the project.
